Coyote vs. Acme is finally getting released—with a killer trailer

Ketchup Entertainment, the new distributor for the film *Coyote vs. Acme*, has released a trailer for the movie, which was previously shelved by Warner Bros. in 2023. The film is based on a 1990 satirical piece by Ian Frazier published in The New Yorker, depicting Wile E. Coyote suing the ACME corporation. Warner Bros. had initially planned to release the film in July 2023 but instead scheduled *Barbie* for that slot and later canceled *Coyote vs. Acme* for a tax write-off. The decision to shelve the film had sparked outrage within the industry and among fans. The film, which had James Gunn involved in its script development, is now finally getting released.
